Make Each Moment Count With Versatile Electrical Upgrades

There’s nothing wrong with having an older electrical system or old-school lightbulbs. But as time goes by and new technology, devices, and appliances come out, your needs wants, and standards will change too.

Imagine turning your bedroom into a relaxing space by the touch of a finger with dimmable LED lights, enhancing your room with smart lighting that detects movement and turns on when you enter, or having ambient lighting in certain areas to create focal points.

But electrical upgrades can be more than getting new lights. It’s time you make the most of your home by upgrading your current wiring and installing new smart devices that will give you more control over how things work in your home.

Electrical Panel Replacement

An electrical panel upgrade allows you to make any electrical upgrades, such as adding innovative devices, new lighting upgrades, or that hot tub you’ve always wanted, without the fear of short circuits or electrical hazards.

We’re here to help you get a new electrical panel that will meet all your needs and allow you to spend your time at home however you want.

Fires and malfunctioning appliances can potentially be linked back to a faulty fuse box or overloaded circuit breaker.

You deserve a home where everything works as intended. With an upgraded electric panel, you can enjoy the convenience of new appliances with less fear of fire hazards or malfunctions from either a lack of electricity supply or an overloaded system.

Let’s make your home safer for you, your family, and everyone else around you.

1.) Flickering Or Dimming Lights

Flickering lights can happen as little as once or twice per day and then become more frequent, but they might also happen all the time for no apparent reason. If there are unusual changes in the frequency and severity of flickering, that means something is out of order and needs to be identified and fixed before things get worse.

2.) Circuit Breakers Tripping Frequently

It’s easy to just reset the trip and go back on with your day, but sometimes, there is more going on than meets the eye. You should identify what caused that problem to prevent it from progressing into something more serious, like a fire.

3.) Cracking/Buzzing Noise from Outlets

Noticing any strange sounds coming from your sockets lately? If so, they might indicate that there’s something severely wrong going on with them. Arcing occurs due to damage and loosening of wires within the socket itself, so if left unchecked, it can potentially blow out the plugs or cause an electric fire.

4.) Burning Smell From Receptacles Or Switches

If an outlet feels hot when touched or makes noise when electricity is flowing through it, this could be dangerous, and it can indicate an electrical problem. Also, if you pick up a strong burning smell coming from your outlet, identifying the source and replacing the plug should be done as soon as possible.

5.) Mild Tingle From Appliances

You probably know what a little tingle coming from one of your electrical devices feels like. A mild electric shock might not seem like much at the time, but it’s a sign of a fault with the internal wiring in your home or a network fault where power lines meet your property. It should be addressed immediately.

6.) Warm Or Colored Wall Plates

When you install a new light or plug in your coffee maker, is the wall plate warm to the touch or even showing signs of burns? If yes, it can be an indication that there’s too much electric current running through it. You should call a specialist before it has a chance to cause any harm.

Wiring + Electrical Panel

He came over the next day and spent 9 hours rewiring most of my house. It cost me $4300 and some change because the previous homeowner, “Mickey, Moused” the wiring, and at least I know my home won’t burn down now. Pete is very professional, and after 9 hours of working, troubleshooting, and even tired and sweaty will not stop until the job is done.ng elit. Troubleshooting

I called first thing in the morning due to an electrical issue, and Peter was at my house within hours. He and his apprentice found the issue, explained everything, made the fix, and cleaned up, and were just really, really nice. The problem came back, I let them know, and Peter came right back out first thing the next morning, checked it out, and found another issue to fix and solved the problem. Their rates are very reasonable, and I will use them again. Highly recommend this company!

Indoor Lighting

Pete and Layton were wonderful! I called, and they were able to come out the same day to give an estimate and begin work. We had some tricky new lights to install that required new electrical boxes, and they worked tirelessly to make everything fit and up to code. I also appreciated their honesty about some work that we wanted to do that wasn’t fully worth the investment based on what they saw. We would definitely recommend Pete if you are looking for an electrician.

Switches + Outlets

Peter and his team came out to replace some outlets and switches that needed to be updated. They were very professional and efficient with their time. They made sure all work was done to code. Great company! Great craftsmanship! Highly recommend!

Indoor Lighting + Troubleshooting

They really made sure to give me the VIP treatment. I have had several other electricians over the past year or so, and Pete is the only electrician who has shown me his license, insurance, and reviews. I have more work to be done, and Pete (Twin Cities Electric) is the only company I will call. Thanks, Pete and Leighton. It was truly a pleasure working with you!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Arcing + Charring

I experienced significant arcing on one of my outlets, which caused charring and emitted a strong, burnt plastic odor. Twin Cities Electric understood my concerns and sent a team out right away. They were obviously quite knowledgeable and conducted a thorough and professional inspection of the property. I felt much safer after they completed their walk-through! I highly recommend Twin Cities Electric, and I will definitely use them again!

Pete did great work. He was easy to work with and took extra steps to minimize the work that needed to be done when the fixtures were removed. I have recommended him to others, and he will be my go-to electrician.

Pete is very friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable. He charged a very fair price for the work he did fixing our strangely wired house and outlets. We would highly recommend him!
